![]() I even asked for the owner and she mimicked and laughed at me and said "no he is busy". She would NOT refund my money! I told her over and over to give me my money so I could leave and NOT come back with my dogs, the POLICE were called and ONLY then did she give me my money back! She would not let me speak with anyone else there BUT her. I was over charge for 6 medications when I only needed 2! Over $60 overcharge! They never called and told me about it, when I went in to get my refund (Which they rudely admitted too, and didn't even apologize) The most unprofessional & Rudest person I have ever meet was a lady manager with short blond hair. My puppies need a simple deworming as well so I had to come in and out getting fecal exams. I had spent the whole week there getting my new puppies 9 week & 10 Weeks old established there. I had the most horrible experience of my life here! By far! I was so excited to find a new vet for my 3 English Bulldogs 2 were puppies I just got. Whatever the case, anyone choosing to go to this vet should consider it a "buyer beware" situation. I see all these glowing reviews on Google, but I wonder if some of these patrons have never had really, truly great service & are just settling for the terrible service that Bijou offers. I will not be going back to this vet again. She also was hesitant to ask for pain meds for my dog. My dog was clearly in pain when we left & the front desk gal wanted to argue with me that the care we received was all they could do. I had even had a conversation with the tech after they took my dog in the back to look at her paw. ![]() (This has happened before & this was the standard of care my previous vet provided.) While I appreciated being scheduled for an appointment on the same day, I was frustrated that all they did was wrap her paw with a bandage & charge me $26. I had explained on the phone that my dog had cracked her dewclaw & would possibly need to be put under with quick anesthesia so it could be trimmed. ![]() The 2nd visit (this past Saturday) was not good either. I even called back the next day to discuss the situation with the front desk & asked them to put a note in my account that I never wanted to be scheduled with that vet again. ![]() When he did, he was condescending & talked over me & wouldn't listen. And we had to wait for the vet to finally come in after 25 minutes. The first visit was chaotic.there were dogs barking the entire time & an unorganized/frenetic front desk. Both times have been negative & I won't be going back again. I've now been to Bijou Animal Hospital twice. Was wanting to find somewhere good & closer to my home. I had been taking my pets (all 4 of them) to our previous vet for 15 years until she retired in February 2018. I transferred my pets records to this vet on the recommendation of a friend. ![]()
